Position Description

Creates new custom solutions to integrate enterprise applications both internally and with vendors and partners that ensure on-time, cost-effective delivery with minimal system and business impact while maintaining compliance with IT and product architecture. Supports complex enterprise wide IT applications used by multiple business units and external partners. Assists IS personnel and consults with business clients in the use of information technology and application systems. Works directly with application vendors, application service providers, SaaS, and cloud computing providers to meet UNS business needs. Position-Related Responsibilities

Programmer Analyst II

Designs, develops, troubleshoots, supports, and configures information systems to support business processes across multiple departments and business units.
Develops designs, program specifications, data access, output reports, and input specifications. Assures that the design, programming, testing and documentation for assigned systems are correct, complete and up-to-date.
Designs, develops, troubleshoots, and maintains software interfaces to enterprise systems using approved SOA middle-tier tools as defined in the IT corporate standards.
Reviews work requests from clients and develops estimates for work to be performed based on industry standard estimation methodology.

Position Description

Leads, manages, and directs the UNS Emerging Technology & Innovation team and process that seeks out both industry disruptors and, new and innovative technology, products, and programs that can be offered to internal and external customers. Responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing the approved strategic direction for UNS Innovation. Provides overall guidance, leadership, and hands-on expertise in the discovery and evaluation phases for new products and programs and risk mitigation tactics. Leverages FutureThink, to make recommendations regarding strategy positions, initiatives, and programs to UNS management for implementation. Assists as needed with the hand-off and implementation phases to facilitate the adoption and complete integration of approved technologies, products, and programs.

**Sr. Project Engineer**

The Sr. Project Engineer is responsible for providing technical leadership by identifying, developing, and executing capital projects for the factory with a focus on packaging and automation equipment. This position will maintain visibility to the design process, ensure adherence to all established key components and project deliverables, and directly manage overall project execution including construction and commissioning. Additionally, this position will coordinate with the client as well as various other groups inside and outside of the organization.

Preliminary Project Development including Charter Development

+ Assist in development of pre-project approval documents including project charter, project management plan, project kick start, estimate and milestone schedule creation.

+ Monitor design progress and deliverables are met in adherence to established project key components.​

+ Receive design details from design team with full understanding of project deliverables to coordinate bid package development and release for construction bidding and field execution.

+ Select contractors and contracting methods based on engineering ways of working methodology.

Project Execution & Facilitation

+ Direct and execute installation, construction, and commissioning of assigned projects.Manage adherence to project scope and secure approvals for all changes in projects based on engineering ways of working methodology.

+ Manage and control project budget providing cost forecasts and cash flow projections through development of project cost and status reports on at least a monthly basis or as requested by project stakeholders.

+ Manage and maintain project milestone schedules with integrated detailed scheduling as agreed upon in the project charter.

+ Manage data collection and feedback process for projects.

+ Monitors processes for compliance with quality and GMP requirements in accordance with FDA and OSHA regulations. ​

+ Provide construction management and factory startup assistance as needed to ensure successful project execution.

+ Evaluate, select, and issue contracts for construction firms through bidding and prequalification vetting processes.

+ Provide self-directed project management of assigned projects from end to end with minimal supervision from department manager.

+ Monitor work output from resources on the project team as assigned by the department manager.​
