**The Boeing Company** is currently seeking a highly motivated **Senior Industrial Security Specialist (PERSEC)** to join their team in **Mesa, AZ.** This role will support multiple programs and activities.

**Position Responsibilities:**

+ Provides authoritative guidance to leadership by advising on personnel security policies, procedures & regulations to determine impact of new or changing policy and implement process improvements.

+ Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Enterprise Service Center.

+ Implements government policies and company security processes & procedures.

+ Investigates, analyzes, and resolves complex questions and issues pertaining to PERSEC and service center activities.

+ Assist in the protection of government, intellectual, third party and company information from unauthorized disclosures.

+ Provides leadership, mentoring, guidance, and training to less experienced personnel.

**This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.**

**This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (US Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)**

**This position requires a current Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) (U.S. Citizenship required) or requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.**

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):**

+ 5+ years of experience dealing directly with government customers

+ 5+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers and all levels of leadership

+ Experience working with the National Industrial Security Procedures and Operations Manual (NISPOM)

+ 5+ years of experience with the Defense Information System for Security (DISS)

**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):**

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience

+ Experience with the Department of Defense Manual (DoDM) 5205.07, Volumes 1-4

+ Experience with the Director of Central Intelligence Directives (DCID) and/or Intelligence Community Directives (ICD)

+ 5+ years of experience with Personnel Security (PERSEC)

+ Experience with SIMS Software

+ Experience with NBIS

**Typical Education / Experience:**

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

**Relocation:**

Unlocks buildings/doors after checking identification and compliance with hospital policies. Enforce organizational policies. (i.e. parking, smoking, badge compliance) Provides training to staff as needed. Responsible for assisting in emergency situations. Acts as first responder to disturbances/emergencies such as infant abduction alarms, fire alarms, panic alarms, intruder alarms, restraint calls anywhere in hospital or on hospital grounds. Must respond to urgent security calls immediately, which may require rapid stair climbing, running/sprinting, moving of heavy equipment and other associated tasks. In the event of emergencies, must take charge of maintaining order, safety and to protect personnel and property. Some activities can involve interacting with and controlling hostile, belligerent, aggressive individuals involving some element of danger or risk of injury. Subdues resisting, aggressive, combative and distressed individuals and when ordered by proper medical authority and in compliance with hospital policy/procedure the application of appropriate restraint equipment to prevent injury to individual or others. This activity can involve some element of danger and/or risk of injury. May assist law enforcement officers and security leadership with protection details, crowd control, and surveillance at large public events. May assist in providing security for mass casualty events including setting up Decon equipment Responsible for investigating and/or documenting incidents. Documents policy violations in citations or emails. Maintains a daily log of activities. Provides and relays information as directed Responsible for completing required training and annual in-services. Escorts people/property to desired destination when monies, documents or safety of property or persons are a concern. Responds to alarms and dispatched calls and takes appropriate actions. **Where You Will Work**

Located approximately 50 miles northeast of Safford, Arizona on U.S. Highway 191, Morenci operations (an open-pit copper mining complex) has been in continuous operation since 1939. The operation consists of two concentrators, crushed-ore leach pad and stacking system, a low-grade run-of-mine (ROM) leaching system; four SX plants; and three EW tank houses that produce copper cathode.

**What You Will Do**

+ Perform a variety of patrol, security, emergency response and customer service duties at assigned location.

+ Greet and log in all visitors and vendors at entrance gate

+ Notify appropriate personnel or department of arrival

+ Direct visitors and vendors to destination

+ Enforce company policies and procedures

+ Perform frequent patrols of the property

+ Walk, bicycles, or drives vehicle on irregularly scheduled rounds of property

+ Observe conditions of equipment, grounds and facilities

+ Pick up litter or debris as needed, or arranges clean-up with maintenance crews

+ Report damages or areas in need of repair to the Maintenance Supervisor

+ Conduct surveillance of locations or areas in which vandalism or criminal activities have been noted

+ Assist with and trained for emergency situations

+ Collaborate with police officers in the prevention of crime

+ Work with fire response units for fire suppression, and with medical emergency response units in the event of emergency situations, at the assigned location

+ Provide basic emergency medical response (e.g. performs CPR, gives basic first aid) when needed

+ Perform other duties as required

**What You Bring To Freeport**

+ Current CPR and first aid certifications, as required by specific site location

+ Skilled in responding appropriately to emergency and conflict situations

+ Knowledge of site rules, regulations, policies and procedures

+ Respond to and accurately document security incidents
