**Where You Will Work **

Our global headquarters is in Phoenix, Arizona. Several hundred employees support global operations in finance, human resources, information technology, planning and more from the main office, satellite offices or online. As a Hybrid employee, you’ll engage in virtual collaboration as well as attend in-person meetings at our Collaboration Hub in Phoenix or at one of our site locations. The Collaboration Hub provides an open, flexible workspace for individuals and teams to come together for various business needs. Amenities at the Hub include a working café, phone booths and meeting rooms with technology tools for virtual and in-person collaboration. In-person attendance may vary based on the position and department requirements.

Phoenix is the capital of the Grand Canyon State and enjoys mostly bright skies throughout the year. It is the perfect place if you enjoy the outdoors, love sports, concerts and other big city amenities or technology. There are great neighborhoods around Phoenix, with easy access to a major city, nature, the arts and many more amenities.

**Description**

Manages multiple project initiatives of various sizes, mostly small and minor. This includes managing all phases of projects from initiation through scoping, design, development, implementation, and post-implementation support. Responsible for working with Project Managers, Managers and Architects to coordinate activities and resources. Works to ensure high quality project deliverables are created, reports are produced, and projects are delivered on time and within budget while meeting customer expectations.

+ Manage multiple small or minor projects including development of proposal/charter, creating and maintaining work plans, managing the project team to complete their tasks, tracking and escalating issues, and creating and presenting weekly status reports

+ Work closely with Business, MIS or Site Representatives to gather requirements, scope projects, and determine solutions

+ Work with the infrastructure, security, applications, and operations teams to complete the project work and transition to support

+ Generate project reports including budgets, status, timesheets, etc.

+ Perform other duties as required

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Qualifications**

+ Bachelor's degree **and** at least six (6) years of experience working in an IT department, **which includes** three (3) years of Project Management experience on IT system implementations, **AND** experience managing multiple IT projects of various sizes at one time; **OR**

+ Associate's degree **and** at least eight (8) years of experience working in an IT department, **which includes** five (5) years of Project Management experience on IT system implementations, **AND** experience managing multiple IT projects of various sizes at one time; **OR**

+ High School diploma or equivalent **and** at least ten (10) years of experience working in an IT department, **which includes** seven (7) years of Project Management experience on IT system implementations, **AND** experience managing multiple IT projects of various sizes at one time

+ Experience using Microsoft Project and Project Server

+ Understanding of IT terminology and processes

+ Understanding of Project Management methodologies

**Criteria/Conditions**

+ Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English

+ Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards

+ Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment

+ Some travel to all global operating locations will be required in this position

+ Project demand will dictate varied work hours

+ Position is in a busy, non-smoking office located in Phoenix, AZ

+ Location requires mobility in an office environment; each floor is accessible by elevator

+ Occasionally work will be performed in a mine, outdoor or manufacturing plant setting, which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity, moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, toxic chemicals, explosives, fumes or airborne particles

+ Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk

+ Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to ten (10) pounds

+ Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required

+ Freeport-McMoRan promotes a drug/alcohol free work environment through the use of mandatory pre-employment drug testing and on-going random drug testing as per applicable State Laws

**What We Offer You**

The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $ **93,000** **-$130,000.** This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
