**CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer Java & Web Technologies opening for our client in Phoenix, AZ.**

**Location:** Phoenix, AZ

**Duration:** 11 months

**Duties:**

+ Develop and maintain applications using Java and web technologies.

+ Work on large data processing applications using Flink and Beam.

+ Design and implement efficient, scalable solutions for data-intensive applications.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

+ Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.

+ Write clear, well-documented code with a focus on maintainability and performance.

+ Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

**Skills:**

+ Strong experience in Java development.

+ Expertise in large data processing using Flink and Beam.

+ Proficiency in working with databases such as Big Query or Oracle.

+ Solid understanding of web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

+ Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

+ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

**Experience:**

+ Proven experience in Java development and large data processing applications.

+ Experience with Big Query or Oracle databases.

+ Prior work experience with Flink and Beam for data processing is required.

+ Experience in the full software development lifecycle from design to implementation and testing.

**Education:**

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
