An enterprise financial institution located in Phoenix, AZ is looking for a Cloud Security Specialist to add to their growing team. This position emphasizes a robust understanding of cloud architecture and security, with a focus on documentation and visualization. The individual will collaborate closely with a team of technical experts across various areas. The company operates across various cloud platforms, including GCP, AWS, and Azure, each serving distinct purposes. The primary objective is to thoroughly document the security reference architectures implemented across all cloud environments. Over recent years, our technical experts have laid the groundwork for foundational services. Now, the emphasis is on meticulously documenting the security controls across all clouds and visually mapping their interactions.

This position will require on site work 3 days a week in a North Phoenix office.

Contract Duration: 9-12 months

**Required Skills & Experience**

+ Specialized in AWS security with familiarity in GCP and Azure

+ Proficient in designing security architectures for cloud environments

+ Experienced in creating Architectural Decision Records (ADR)

+ Skilled in using Drawio for diagramming

+ Familiarity with GitHub for documentation purposes

+ Potential use of Docusaurus for documentation

+ Understanding of basic coding principles for documentation purposes

**Desired Skills & Experience**

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security or related field
