What You'll Do

Provide strategic leadership of Nucor Rebar Fabrication Placing Operations at Branch, including oversight and development of managers/supervisors and future leaders, coordinate with the Branch Manager and Branch Team to achieve strategic goals.

Your Responsibilities

Promote safety culture within branch and region and provide safety leadership by leading by example with a passionate attitude for the safety of all employees, office, fabrication and placing. Ensure that all work is executed in line with all safety policies and procedures set forth by the Nucor Rebar Fabrications Safety Team. Ensure that the contractor and or customer are aware of Nucor Rebar Fabrication Placings safety and production requirements and expectations. Pre-plan work and ensure required labor, tools or equipment are in place. Work with the Nucor Rebar Fabrication Branch Manager and other department managers to identify strategic opportunities for growth in your market. Work closely with the Branch Manager and branch team and placing team to ensure proper execution of Rebar Contractor Strategy. Work with Nucor Rebar Fabrications Branch and department managers to develop appropriate detailing, fabrication, and installation strategies to ensure that each job is safe and profitable for the entire branch. Be responsible for developing and ensuring successful long-term customer relationships with Branch Manager and branch team. Work with all departments to implement a sales and bidding strategy within the branch that promotes the Rebar Contractor Model Supply and Install package. Share best practice ideas with Branch Manager, Operations Lead and Detailing Supervisor, Placing Managers and Operations Managers for applicability at their branch and assist with implementation as appropriate. Review safety and production results on all projects to discover opportunities for improvement and assist with implementation as appropriate. Communicate with Branch Manager on safety, bidding, awards, productivity, and profitability of your department. Work with the Branch Manager on the development of a succession plan and subsequent training for team members with growth potential. Coach Supervisors/Foreman and other key teammates and motivate the teammates in achieving the Nucor Rebar Fabrications Vision and in embodying the Nucor Rebar Fabrication Values. Work with the billing department to identify that all billable items are accounted for and invoiced. Communicate and clarify all company policy and procedures to your department and ensure they are adhered to. Assist Branch Manager with development of an annual budget that reflects market share objectives for the branch. Develop and maintain relationships in local construction and business community and industries with Branch Manager. Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Your Qualifications

At least 10 years experience with Rebar Installation with at least 5 years experience pricing installation. At least 5 years experience in a Supervisory Role including pricing and managing work. At least 5 years experience in the Reinforcing Steel Market. At least 5 years experience with Post Tensioning.

+ Knowledgeable in the use of common metal fabrication equipment i.e.: rollers, man lifts, telehandlers, jacks, come along, porta power, dolly, crane, press brake, etc.

+ Working knowledge of OSHA regulations

Job Summary

The Concrete Production Worker is a key position at Jensen Precast. From start to finish you are responsible for the production of quality precast concrete products. Working in the production plant you will be on your feet moving quickly through the tasks of your day helping us meet customer needs.

We are seeking an energetic individual to work in our expanding electrical department as an Electrician Technician at our Coolidge, AZ location.

POSITION SCOPE: This is a safety sensitive position consisting of working outdoor at our Fabrication facilities and with little to no travel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

+ Superior knowledge of electrical tools and equipment.

+ Responsible for electrical requirements in manufacturing new equipment, servicing customers existing equipment in the field and electrical maintenance and repair of equipment.

+ Comfortable using mechanical tools and electrical power tools.

+ Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.

+ Maintain records and paper work for jobs.

+ Assist with checking accuracy and quality of all phases of fabrication and installation.

+ Able to read and understand blue prints and wiring schematics.

+ Perform physical labor tasks associated with jobs (pull and coil wire, heavy lifting, etc.).

+ Ability to solve problems or issues using standard tools and techniques.

+ Responsible for quality NEC and MSHA code requirements of electrical work performed.

+ Other duties as assigned.

BACKGROUND:

+ Electrician or Apprentice with at least 3 years experience.

+ Experience with commercial 480 volt 3 phase.

+ Familiarity with National Electrical Code.

+ Demonstrates positive "can-do" attitude.

+ Experience in design and wiring of control panels.

+ Ability to work with electronic soft starters and variable frequency drives.

+ Good interpersonal skills.

+ Ability to work well independently as well as on teams.

+ Effective collaboration and communication skills.

POSITION SCOPE:

The Project Engineer will be responsible for technical and administrative support to the project team in performing the project and will share areas of overall responsibilities with the Project Manager, Superintendents and Construction Administrator. The Project Engineer must be willing to travel to remote project sites; this position requires travel. We offer a competitive market-based salary and comprehensive benefits.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

+ Supervise and provide training for field crews.

+ Sets up and maintains standard project files, general correspondence, subcontractor's agreements.

+ Distributes correspondence and coordinates project payables and receivables with accounting department and maintain and other accounts.

+ Assists with project closeout.

+ Comply with procedures as outlined in the construction manual.

+ Develop and maintain positive and effective working relationship with owners, subcontractors, and crews.

+ Implement assigned duties with an exceptional level of accuracy, timeliness, and cost effectiveness.

+ Assist in managing project schedules.

+ Assist in preparation of change order requests and change orders, maintain change order documents, files, logs.

+ Equipment time tracking.

+ Acquire a thorough knowledge of the contract documents, plants, specs, subcontracts.

+ Expedite submittals and maintain status file.

+ Maintain field logs and quantity tracking for work performed.

+ Track RFI, Change order, addenda, clarification or correspondence.

+ Implement job closeout procedures as directed by Project Manager.

+ Perform technical and administration duties as directed by the PM to facilitate the project.

+ Accurate coding of costs and prepare monthly progress payment request.

+ Fully understand the scope of the subcontractors.

+ Attend and document project meetings.

+ Provide the PM with support and accurate information to maximize the project management effectiveness.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

+ Strenuous walking and required to wear protective personal protective equipment

+ Able to work in hot or cold outdoor temperatures and job site conditions

BACKGROUND:

+ A related degree is a plus, 1-2 years (or related) highway construction experience preferred.

+ Applicant must be at least 18 years old.

+ Valid driver's license and have a clean motor-vehicle record to meet company insurance guidelines.

+ Broad knowledge of construction methods.

+ Good understanding of highway construction, blue print reading, and computer skills.

+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of integrity.
